Paint & Envision 2021

ORLANDO, Fla.–On July 31, 2021 Let’s Spill the Tea (LSTT) hosted its first fundraiser in two years. After navigating the pandemic, it was a welcomed yet bittersweet reunion.

Since last connecting, many of the teens have graduated high school and are now in college. Even preteens who were once too young for the program, are now of age to participate. Sadly, two mothers passed away. Monica & Monique felt an event was long overdue.

Women throughout Central Florida gathered at CB Bistro & Catering (2295 S. Hiawassee Rd. Ste. 105A Orlando, FL 32835) for a quaint afternoon of wine, passed hors d’oeuvres, and inspiration behind the mission of Let’s Spill the Tea.

LSTT alums, Lissette and Julia Frances, spoke of how the organization helped save their relationship during a critical time. Julia, now a student at Florida A&M University and a member of the Army Reserve, has blossomed into a self-aware and confident young woman. Her mother, Lissette, is also empowered to engage with both of her daughters, including Julissa, 14, who is now ready for the program.

Founded in 2013, Let’s Spill the Tea, helps families of young women ages 14-21 breakthrough communication barriers during their teen and young adult years. Through workshops, retreats, and meetups, like Envision & Paint, families are equipped with wellness toolkits from licensed mental health professionals. LSTT provides other strategies to help reconnect, reignite, and rebuild their relationships.

Guests who attended Envision & Paint were also treated to a live music performance from singer, Yoshi, and dinner catered by CB Bistro.
